I had my vaccination for cervical cancer last Monday. Cervical cancer is caused by the virus called HPV (human papillomavirus) it is however curable if diagnosed and promptly treated in its early stage. There are more than a hundred types of HPV most of which are harmless. Still, 15 are linked to cervical cancer. The vaccine protects you from the two types that trigger 70% of cervical cancer cases. And even if you have or you've already had HPV ( 80% of women will at some point) data show that the vaccine will still prevent subsequent infections. It also cuts your odds of genital warts, two other types of HPV are responsible for 90% of all cases of genital warts, it is a small, whitish, sometimes itchy bumps that appear on the skin of your pubic region. Though the warts are harmless and eventually go away, they can reappear and are extremely contagious. The vaccine will protect you from these 2 wart causing types.

“It’s really an investment on your health because in the end it is much cheaper to prevent it than to cure it. So I encourage everyone to take advantage of this breakthrough". In the Philippines alone, cancer of the cervix is the second most common known cancer among women. Statistics shows that every year, an estimated 6,000 Filipino women are diagnosed with cervical cancer and more than half of them die of this disease.

From both sides of my parents, I’ve got relatives who were diagnosed and suffered from cancer. I’ve experienced and seen how tough it is to go under treatments one of my Auntie died of cervical cancer. You can avoid it. It really felt like it’s a sin not to take advantage of it because by your mere decision to take the vaccination, you’re not only saving your own life but you’re also saving your family’s life.

The vaccine, a series of three-shots given over six months that can be availed by women ages 10 onwards. However there are Minor side effects that are experienced like serious pain reactions to the actual shot.

Dumbledore(Gambon) needs Harry (Radcliffe) to help find vital clues to defeat Voldemort... but Harry is equally concerned about dangers within Hogwarts as well as getting increasingly interested in the attractions of the opposite sex. well i gave it a four thumbs up...

this is my daughter einjel kristine.. a super kulet, likot at pasaway na bata.. alang pili lahat yata kinakain at nginangatngat nito.. we call her our little PG as in patay gutom.. hehehe...  mukha naman di ba? hindi xa umaayaw sa pagkain kundi ang pagkain na ang umaayaw sa kanya... ganyan sya ka sutil.. mukha syang harmless pero the truth is harmfull sya...

i happened to read other blog regarding there family and so on. one of them is death of a love one.  thats why i repost this blog of mine a long time ago. well i can relate to their stories i also lost my little boy. .  what if nabuhay  sya?? siguro ang saya nila at lalong mas magulo pa dahil 3 na sila.. every tym  na maalala ko xa parang bibiyakin ang dibdib ko... 4 long years na para sakin  pero im still hurting and i shed tears everytime na maalala ko o makita ko pic  nya nong baby pa xa.. Ayaw ko na sana xang isipin pero ako ang ina at di ko xa  makalimutan... my husband hid all the memories of him pero everytime na  aksidente kong makita iiyak na naman ako... hayyy..

Karl Christian  had a twin brother, identical twins sila... but unfortunately he died  of whatever complications that i dont know. only his pedia knows. marami nagsabi na hindi xa para samin.. pero siguro  kung nalaman lang namin na i was having a twin hindi na nagkaganon or nagawan ng  paraan.. hindi kc xa nakita sa ultrasound ko at di rin na detect ng doctor na  kambal sila.. so when he was born hes so small and so underweight kaya siguro  madali xang nag ka komplikasyon at di kinaya ng katawan nya.. after 5 days he  passed away.. di ko alam kong sino sisisihin ko.. ang doctor ko ba??  na di alam  na kambal sila.. ang nag ultrasound  kaya dahil di xa marunong tumingin at  maghanap ng baby sa tyan.. o kaya ako??? dahil ako ang ina at nasa tyan ko xa  bakit di ko man lang naramdaman na 2 sila.. ang alam ko lang non e malikot ang  baby ko sa loob... and i thought it was normal.. naalala ko pa ang sabi ng  doctor when i was 7 months on the way, na mag diet daw ako kc sobrang laki na ng  tyan ko.. buti nalang di ko sinunod dahil baka pati si karl christian ko e  nadamay din... marami nag sabi na pwede kaming mag demanda dahil kapabayaan yon  ng doctor na di nya malaman ang kondisyon ng mga bata to think na lahat ng  ultrasound, laboratories and check up e kompleto ako... and after 3 days of  giving birth to a twin e sinabi na naming ilipat xa sa childrens hospital or pgh  para mas kompleto ng gamit at mas madaming baby doctors para maalagaan xa.. pero  tumanggi ang hospital na yon at sinabing baka di makaya ng baby ang byahe at  baka maexpose pa daw sya sa ibang sakit at sa mga bacteria... so sad na parang alam na siguro  nilang di na magtatagal ang buhay ng bata para mag decide sila ng ganon... the  next day before i left the hospital for the first tym of giving birth thru  ceasarian section e nakita ko xa hes so tiny,, madaming dextrose sa 2 kamay at 2  paa, naka oxygen pa... ewan ko lang kong di ka umiyak kapag nakita mo xa... i  tried to breast feed him habang humahagolgol ako ng iyak sabi ng doc wag daw ako  iiyak kc mararamdaman ng bata yon habang karga ko xa...kaya pala hinde xa pinapakita sakin at di nila sinabi ang sitwasyon nya kc nakakapraning sa sakit ng dibdib... dapat every  4 hours i have to breastfeed him kaya lagi ako dapat balik sa hospital to think na CS ako at di pa masyadong makagalaw pero pinipilit ko at ang effect ng general anesthesia at mga gamot sakin e lagi akong tulog kahit nakatayo ako e nakakatulog ako at lahat ng sinasabi ng doctor ala akong maalala...  the day after i went home he passed away..................................................................

now tell me kung sino may pagkukulang....

o dabat ipag pasa dios ko nalang lahat pati ang sakit na nararamdan ko na alam kong pang habang buhay..................................

i was just wondering kung alin ang mas matibay yong havaianas or yong ipanema?? i have some pairs of havaianas which lasted for almost two years na since i was really taking care of it.. yong tipong pagkatapos gamitin when i go out deretso na sa shoe rack.. 

then i bought some pairs of dupe half the price lang ng havaianas para naman malaman ko yong difference nila since im a flip flop user. at every day ginagamit ko . then i found out na dupe flip flops only lasted for months, the last pair i bought only lasted two months...

but if you compare it to havaianas ala xang panama... super tibay ng hava ko kasi yon ala pang napuputol.. napaglumaan nalang kaya di ko na sinusuot.. where as yong dupe e two months lang di pa pudpod yong tsinelas e putol na .. waaaaaaa...... then i bought a pair of ipanema mukha naman xang matibay  lets see nga kong ano ang ending nito...

ill give it a three month observation since they have the same price as my havaianas... malay mo tumagal at least marami nakong choices next time if i want a new pair.....

i confess im an addict.... addicted to COFFEE bwa hehehe..... as a matter of fact  i can consume 5 cups or more coffee a day... for me its my battery it will keep me active for the rest of the day... i cant live without it... i like my coffee HOT as in the 3 in 1 coffee that you can buy in any sari sari store, market or groceries. there's no particular brand also as long as im having coffee the 3 in 1 way hehehe....

There are plenty of ways on how to enjoy your coffee sipping it hot, brewed, roasted if you still can't stand it: light roasts are not as bitter, and some coffees come with flavors, such as chocolate , caramel, hazelnut and many other variants.

You can also enjoy it the cold way like the ones you can buy at starbucks or other coffee shops like frappuccino that comes with different flavors too..

They say that coffee is bad because there are  lots of negative side effects from caffeine which the coffee has.. as a stimulant coffee can be addictive and could cause jitters and anxiety when consumed in large amounts. Coffee can also stain teeth, giving daily users a yellowed smile. Burns from hot coffee are quite common as well, so coffee drinkers must be careful when handling hotpots or downing a freshly made cappuccino or latte. In people with frequent heartburn, coffee, even decaffeinated, will stimulate the secretion of stomach acid, possibly initiating a bout of indigestion ; in some cases, this can be avoided by drinking coffee very early in the day, or consuming small amounts at a time.

What coffee will not do, as research over the past few decades has suggested, is cause cancer, stomach ulcers, breast disease, orgallbladder disease. As it turns out, one study linking coffeeconsumption with pancreatic cancer is now used as a model for flawedstudy design. Apparently, researchers in that study examined a numberof factors besides coffee intake as causes of pancreatic cancer, whichlead to misguided results that have since been discredited. When theresults of earlier coffee studies are analyzed, they do not provide sufficient evidence that moderate coffee consumption causes asignificant health risk even among patients with cardiovascular problems.

But today scientist prove that coffee has lots of positive health benefits. New therapeutic uses of caffeine and coffee are being introduced tohealth care practices. Premature babies and newborns that have undergone surgery are given caffeine to stimulate breathing, and it is thought that caffeine can be used to help asthma patients because it works to dilate airways. Coffee also may be used as a treatment for constipation, and may protect against the pain of gallstones. A studydone in 1999 showed a decreased risk of colon cancer in coffee drinkers compared with non-drinkers, but no specific recommendations have been given for consumption to prevent colon cancer as of today. Although coffee does not seem to combat the effects of Parkinson?s once the disease has taken hold, very recent studies have shown a reduced risk of Parkinson?s disease development in coffee drinkers. Some scientist also says that cOffee detoxifies the body.

See? Even spas nowadays used coffee for treatments because it is said that coffee treatments do a wonderful job of softening the skin, it makes the skin rejuvenated.. latest is that they were using caffeine/coffee on some beauty products due to their tightening and anti oxidant effects on the skin..  works on the skin on three different ways as a vasoconstrictor, an anitioxidant and a diuretic.

Coffee can now be found in face creams, body scrubs, and fragrances.Some just smell like coffee, some have actual ground coffee beans as exfoliates, and some contain caffeine for its antioxidant, dehydrating,and vaso-constricting properties.

Ive never tried those products yet but given a chance why not?..

So now.....  you can have coffee anyway you want it.... call me an addict if thats what you want....
